Johan Ludvig Runeberg, Finnish national poet, was born in Feb 5 1804. Starting from 1854 Finns have celebrated Feb 5 as Runeberg’s day.  It’s the day Finns also eat runeberg tortes. The mini sized runeberg tortes in this picture are going to Finnish language school students later today.
